Entre 17 e 21 de abril, Lorena vai sediar o Campeonato Brasileiro de Futsal Down 2024/2025, que vai reunir 10 equipes do país em uma competição de alto rendimento, na modalidade de futsal para atletas com Síndrome de Down. A cidade será representada pela equipe ADAPTE. A abertura do evento será no dia 17/04, às 19h, na quadra da EM Governador Mário Covas.
Na cerimônia, haverá apresentações do Grupo de Ginástica Rítmica Adaptada da Secretaria de Esportes de Guaratinguetá e do Projeto Batucarte, além do desfile das delegações, fala das autoridades e do juramento dos atletas.
O Campeonato tem como objetivo estimular o intercâmbio social e esportivo, fomentar a estruturação da modalidade de Futsal Down no país e conscientizar a sociedade para o potencial da prática desportiva para atletas com deficiência. Vale ressaltar que o esporte é um importante instrumento para a integração social e traz inúmeros benefícios aos praticantes.
Ao todo, serão 10 equipes participantes, em dois grupos:
• ADAPTE (Lorena/SP)
• Galápagos JR (São Paulo/SP)
• Ituano Futsal Down e PCD (Itu/SP)
• Ponte Preta S21 (Campinas/SP)
• APADPEL Futsal Down (Pelotas/RS)
• Nova Aliança (Indaiatuba/SP)
• Sinergia 21 (São José dos Campos/SP)
• Goodnut (Brodowski/SP)
• Futsal Down (Pouso Alegre/MG)
• CDC Jardim Avelino (São Paulo/SP)
Há um total de 27 jogos previstos, com 2 tempos corridos de 20 minutos cada. O sistema de disputa será classificatório dentro de cada grupo, classificando-se para as semifinais os dois melhores de cada um.
Ao final do torneio, no dia 21 de abril, serão entregues troféus para os vencedores do 1º, 2º e 3º lugar, e para Artilheiro, Melhor Jogador, Jogador Revelação e Melhor Goleiro, bem como medalhas para todos os participantes.
O Campeonato Brasileiro de Futsal Down 2024/2025 é uma realização da Confederação Brasileira de Desportos para Deficientes Intelectuais (CBDI), com o apoio da Prefeitura Municipal de Lorena e da Associação Regional de Desportos para Deficientes Intelectuais do Estado de São Paulo (ARDEM).
