A Polícia Militar realizou, nessa quarta-feira (26), o lançamento do novo programa de integração entre a PM e o Poder Judiciário, o Projeto V.I.D.A. (Vigilância, Inteligência, Defesa, Ação) no Vale do Paraíba, Serra da Mantiqueira e Litoral Norte. O evento aconteceu no Auditório do COPOM do CPI-1, em São José dos Campos, e reuniu autoridades da segurança pública, entre elas o Prefeito de Lorena, Sylvio Ballerini; o Secretário Municipal de Segurança, Cel. Marcos Oliveira; e o Diretor Especial da pasta, Adaylton Rezende Junior.
O Projeto V.I.D.A. é uma parceria entre o Tribunal de Justiça e a Secretaria da Segurança Pública do Estado de São Paulo, com foco na proteção da população e na fiscalização do cumprimento das leis. É desenvolvido por meio do compartilhamento de informações sobre condições legais ou judiciais relativas à execução penal e medidas cautelares, além de monitorar eventuais descumprimentos em relação ao regime aberto, livramento condicional, sursis, saídas temporárias, medidas protetivas (Maria da Penha), mandados de prisão e liberdade provisória.
A iniciativa visa proporcionar maior eficiência nas ações de polícia ostensiva e no trabalho jurisdicional, auxiliando magistrados em suas atividades e fortalecendo a ordem pública, o que representa um grande avanço para a segurança na região.
